’Conscientious’. Thursday 9th June 2016 at the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery, Parkinson Court, University of Leeds
Pillbox Theatre presents Adam Z Robinson’s play about the horror of office politics and finding inspiration from First World War Conscientious Objectors.
Rebekah has just landed her first job. She’s everything they should want. Young. Keen. Conscientious.
But Michelle, her office ‘buddy,’ is also the office bully and Rebekah’s dream job is turning into a nightmare. Desperate, she turns for help to the ideals of her hero, her great-grandfather, a First World War conscientious objector.
When pushed right to the edge, what wins out? Ideals? Or survival?
Adam Z Robinson’s play, which toured nationally in 2014, finds the humour and the horror of office politics taken to extremes.
Suitable for ages 14 + (please note there are some adult themes and strong language).
Tickets cost £5. Please book your place here.
Doors open at 7.15pm at the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery.
